Task 2: Saving Pegasus from the Labyrinth of Crete

Enzo looked around, taking in their new surroundings. He felt as if he was stuck in one of Autumn’s illusions. There was no way that a door had been able to transport them to the ruins of a castle on an island in Greece. Then again, they were reincarnations of gods and goddesses- complete with godly powers- and their teachers were full on gods. Nothing seemed impossible at the moment.

“Alright guys,” the boy said, turning to the group assembled in front of him. “Let’s get this task done as fast as we can. Just get in, and get out-” His sentence was cut short as he looked over the top of his classmates’ heads and caught sight of a huge creature that looked like a lab experiment gone wrong, or a very imaginative child’s nightmares come to life. It had the heady and body of a lion, with a goat’s head sticking out of it’s back, and a snake for a tail. Enzo took in a sharp breath and created a double-edged sword in the palm of his hand. Two seconds into the task and already things were going wrong. And Enzo had a feeling that things were going to get worse.

ooc: I know I made it move kind of fast… But hey, this way we can get the task done quicker XD And the Chimera is like RIGHT THERE anyways…

Autumn looked around and began to think “Gah.. hopefully ku’uipo, Winter, all of the Buffetts understand why I left… and Nolan.. can’t forget him..” the 19 year old girl bit the inside of her bottom lip and began to chew on it lightly. Nodding at every word Enzo had to see she soon enough saw fear build up in his eyes. Taking the hint that something was behind her, just like in movies, she wasn’t one to hesitate. Quickly turning around and scooting back, she studied the beast that stood before them. 

Autumn turned to Enzo then back at the others to watch their reactions. Gripping tightly onto the sword like it would have some type of magic that if she choked on it long enough maybe something would happen. But nothing was happening the monster was still alive and uglier as ever. “Okay.. I thought my Nana’s feet were ugly.. but this monster.. has beaten the scales of ugly and has taken it to a whole other level..” Autumn said out loud waiting for someone to take the first move. She stood there like she was paralyzed, or like someone had drilled her feet into the ground. She didn’t want to be the first one to make a mistake. Even if she was the one being the ‘co-leader’ she didn’t want to mess up and let everyone down.
